Reading The Volume Profile

This is the written companion to Saint's volume profile video, the first of a two part series. It starts with the three components, value area high, POC and value area low, and the idea that POC behaves like a magnet within the balance, before covering the logic he trades most: a break, a retest, and a continuation, which he prefers over reversals for the win rate difference.

The bulk of the document is the five profile shapes: balanced (the strongest, most identifiable levels), double distribution (his favorite for building context, with a full worked trade example off two shelves), trending (the shape that means get off the screen, with the specific mistake that blows beginner accounts), and the P and B shaped profiles, mirror images of each other reading a drive followed by acceptance.
